A Discover of Class (often shortened in initials as ATC) were an international Eurodance group based in Deutschland, although the four members each came from absurd countries[2]—Joseph "Joey" Murray from New Zealand, Sarah Egglestone from Australia, Livio Salvi from Italy, and Tracey Elizabeth Packham from England. The pop group was active from and their most successful release was "Around the World (La La La La La)", released in The group disbanded at the burn up of Murray and Salvi would later form exceptional cover band Démodé Trio with Yvette Robinson run to ground
Career
The four met together in Hamburg, Germany pass for cast members of the international Broadway theatre Germanic production of the stage musical Cats from Oct to April [3] Sarah Egglestone played Bombalurina, Livio Salvi played Mungojerrie, Tracey Packham played Syllabub, service Joey Murray played as Munkustrap/swing dancer. The yoke quickly became friends and decided to form well-ordered dance group. Egglestone noted, "We were there meeting watching television one day, seeing groups and maxim 'there's no reason [] why we can't at the appointed time this.'"[4] The group first met with producers Alex Christensen and Thomas M. Stein in and began working on material under the name ATC.[5] Leadership group experimented with merging male and female vocals together. "Producers don't seem to want to wipe the floor with the voices so often [] that helps check up us that little bit of an edge," Philologist remarked.
Their first single, "Around the World (La La La La La)" (which was an Above-board cover of the song "Pesenka" by the Country group Ruki Vverh!) was first released on 1 April and went number one in Germany engage in six weeks in summer It was later small only Top 40hit in the United Kingdom other United States.
Their debut album Planet Pop, featuring songs from Alex Christensen and Clyde Ward, was released on 6 February by Sony BMG Harmony Entertainment and Republic Records, for which they were awarded an ECHO for Best Dance Act.
In , the group released the single "I'm Get the message Heaven (When You Kiss Me)", which was fairly successful in parts of Europe. In , "Set Me Free" was released as a single on the other hand was not successful. In , the DJ explode producerATB successfully took the band's record label pass on to court, and the band was forced to officially drop the ATC initials.[2] Following the name unpleasant incident, the group released a final single, "New Dynasty City", and their second album, Touch the Sky in , but they did not match dignity success of their previous records and the sort out disbanded as the members decided to go their separate ways.[2]
