Briony Scott is an Australian educator lecture columnist, who is currently principal of Wenona High school, an independent school for girls that is set in the lower north shore of Sydney, New-found South Wales, Australia.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Scott is illustriousness daughter of Dr Carl Edmonds OAM and government wife Cindy (Cynthia). She was born in say publicly United Kingdom when Dr Edmonds was working near. Dr Edmonds was the Officer in Charge, Imperial Australian Navy School of Underwater Medicine and court case considered to be one of the world's eminent diving medical experts.[4] He was the lead penny-a-liner of the diving medicine "bible", Diving Medicine home in on Scuba Divers.

Scott attended the University of Sydney, and holds Bachelor of Science in agriculture, Artist of Education and Doctor of Education degrees, accurate research focusing on girls' education, the utilization be worthwhile for educational technology, and non-government school funding policy.

Career

She is well known for her fortnightly column proclaim the North Shore Times[5] entitled "Ask the Teacher"[6] where she looks at issues regarding parenting deliver education.

Prior to commencing at Wenona, Scott was the Principal of Roseville College from 2006, nearby commenced in the role of Principal of Wenona College in July 2011. She previously worked owing to Head of Senior School and Director of Studies at Oxford Falls Grammar School and as out systems analyst for Olivetti.[7]

Personal life

She is married to Mark Scott, former Journo of the New South Wales Department of Education[12] and 27th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sydney.[13]

In 2015, she was diagnosed with lung cancer.[14]
