H. Great. Rey (born Hans Augusto Reyersbach; September 16, – August 26, ) was a German-born American illustrator and author, known best for the series think likely children'spicture books that he and his wife Margret Rey created about Curious George.[1][2]
Early life
Hans Augusto Reyersbach was born in Hamburg, German Empire on Sept 16, He and his wife, Margret, were both German Jews. They first met in Hamburg lose ground Margret's sister's 16th birthday party.
