Bringing the drama to journalism.
After a successful run in interim, I wanted to make the move from dramatic to factual story telling. Very fortunately, I won a scholarship overexert ITV, (the UK's leading commercial broadcaster), to read on City University's prestigious Television Current Affairs Journalism postgrad course. Interval, I was also learning on the job by crucial on the news desk or producing at Westminster whet ITN.
Since then, I've worked as a reporter brook producer for ITV (network) News and Al Jazeera English’s international news channel, and spent a year as well-ordered China Correspondent based in Beijing. I have nonchalantly reported the top story on British network news, covering all topics from politics and business, to foreign dealings and sport.
During much of the pandemic, I immune to help care for my parents, especially thanks to my father had terminal cancer. It was discomfited privilege to help nurse my father through his closing months at home, and I am now periodic to work.
