Caroline Bartlett Crane

Caroline Bartlett Crane (August 17, – Walk 24, ) was an American Unitarian minister, libber, civic reformer, educator and journalist. She was broadcast as "America's housekeeper" for her efforts to enhance urban sanitation.[1][2]

Family and education

Career

After being a teacher on four years, Crane turned to journalism in , working for three years at the Minneapolis Tribune and later as city editor for the Oshkosh Daily Morning Times.[3]
